Zero-impact farming
Paulitti is a family-owned farm, which has been producing quality seasonal flowering plants since 1992. The farm has undergone an expansion in 2010 with the installation of a photovoltaic system and a biomass boiler, making the farm 100% self-sufficient as far as energy production is concerned. In 2021, Paulitti built the first plant in Friuli Venezia Giulia for the cultivation of organic Spirulina: an algae with multiple beneficial properties.
The ‘Paulitti Impatto Zero’ label is to be found on all products produced by the company, which are sold directly to the best florists and gardens in Friuli Venezia Giulia, as well as in some areas of Veneto and in Lombardy; the company offers a very rich annual assortment of potted flowers to satisfy every market need. Società Agricola Paulitti specializes in the production of flowers of all seasons and covers an area of more than 1 hectare, of which 8,000 square meters are roofed.
In 2021, Paulitti gave birth to a new brand: Spiripau. Part of the company’s existing greenhouses have indeed been converted to a new type of cultivation by installing state-of-the-art facilities and technologically advanced machinery
aimed at the cultivation, processing and packaging of spirulina algae for food use.
Spriripau cultivation takes place in large tanks, placed inside protected greenhouses equipped with the latest computerized systems to control the growing environment and water. Paulitti uses only certified plant-based nutrients to ensure the product is 100% vegan.
The benefits are multiple; in fact, the properties of seaweed make it an energizing, immune-stimulating, detoxifying, antioxidant, and balancing agent.
