Extra virgin olive oil made in Friuli Venezia Giulia. Corte Tomasin is a third-generation family business that 10 years ago decided to be one of the first in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region to introduce olive cultivation for the production of high-quality extra virgin olive oil. The proximity of the company to the sea and the presence of freshwater springs have created the perfect environment for the growth of healthy and prosperous olive trees.
Friuli Venezia-Giulia presents a wide range of climates and landscapes: from the Mediterranean climate in the south to the Alps in the north. In a region where olives are not as popular as in Apulia or Sicily, Corte Tomasin has invested time and resources in producing an excellent extra virgin olive oil. The oils produced are known for their delicacy and lightness, both in aroma and flavor. The oils produced in the hills are soft and yellow-green in color, while those produced in Trieste have a greenish-yellow hue and are typically spicy. Corte Tomasin oils are appreciated for their versatility and organoleptic aspects allowing extended cooking times and employment in the preparation of desserts.
